Aerin had become bored with playing in the river outside of town. No one had even bothered to even come and water their beasts beside her own pool. She had waited patiently for long enough. Now she wandered the streets of a small town not far from the river. She knew these people were used to seeing immortals wandering about the area but she still felt slightly out of place. Her willow wood bow was slung easily over her shoulder and her dagger that she kept on her pressed firmly against her hip reassuring her of her own personal safety. Bows and arrows were not much use in tight spaces and well if someone was eager to get at her a dagger would be much more useful that a bow half as tall as Aerin was.
Her light blueish hair had taken on a slightly silver tinge to it as the sun beat down on her. But the sun wouldnt be out for long. A group of menacing looking clouds threatened to come ruin the market that she pitter pattered through. Her heart skipped a nervous beat as a man at a rug booth gave her a suspicious looking mind as if he thought she were up to no good. In truth Aerin was really about just for some fun. A naturally playful spirit she longed for the company of others even if they were just mortals. She herself was once a mortal. She was barefoot as was natural for her and her cape billowed only slightly with the wind and as it pulled back it revealed long slender silvery looking legs. Her skirt was short but that was fine. She wasnt looking for modesty anyway. Aerin always did love a good flirt session.
She wandered from ally to ally touching things only briefly as if just to make sure that they were really there. She ran long spidery fingers over silver brooches and satin gowns made by the wealthier widows who did nothing but sit in their fine house all the day long and sew and hum and pity themselves. A'enthia was one of the richest towns in the country and it was no surprise that even their smallest towns were wealthy from some sort of small business that thrived somewhere in that particular area. In this particular town the textiles and fishing business were the best. The river it seems had an over abundance of fish or maybe that was just because fish flocked to wherever Aerin had made her home. She grinned slightly thinking Without me they would not be so wealthy but wherever there is a will there is a way I suppose she said letting her hands drop to her sides. She probably should be getting back to the river sometime soon. The rain she was positive would start in an hour or so and these people would be soaked before they even knew what hit them. Poor them she thought ruefully to herself as she turned back towards the town entrance.
