Snow. Alot of it, and with that comes the freezing temperatures. A foot of the powdery white stuff everywhere you look - the only refuge is in your nice warm home. You don't have a home, let alone a warm one? Better hoof it to the nearest pub. Very unwise to stay outdoors overnight or with inappropriate clothing.
